John started practicing yoga in 2011. John first experienced yoga so his wife did not have to go to her first class alone. From the first class, he was drawn to the internal and external transformative powers. He has embraced various styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Hatha, Jivamukti, and yin. John strives to better understand the body and mind. In his spare time, he enjoys body movement in the form of slacklining, handstands & acrobatic yoga (Acro). John combines knowledge of these modalities with yoga to benefit his students.
